Board of Directors
Mr. Dorji Dhradhul is the Chairman of Green Bhutan Corporation Limited, Board. He is currently the Director-General of the Tourism Council of Bhutan. He served as Dzongda (Governor) of Gasa district for almost four years and has worked in various capacities in the fields of agriculture research, policy, and development. Mr. Dhradhul was also the founding Director of the Department of Agriculture Marketing and Cooperatives and the founding Registrar of Cooperatives in Bhutan. He published a number of articles on subjects of contemporary relevance in the National newspaper, including a novel title Escapades: Awakenings.
Dr. Lam Dorji is the Board Director of Green Bhutan Corporation Limited Board. He has over twenty years of experience in the field of environmental conservation, organizational management and consultancy. He has a doctoral degree from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. His research experiences and interests are in the area of common pool resources, common property, political economy and associated institutional arrangements in the management of natural resources. He was the Executive Director of the Royal Society for Protection of Nature in Bhutan and served as the Chair of Global Water Partnership South Asia. Currently he works as a consultant.
Mr. Sonam Wangdi is the Board Director of Green Bhutan Corporation Limited Board. He has over fifteen years of experience in the field of nature conservation, wildlife conservation and forest resources management. He has a Master of Science from Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy for the Indian Forest Service. He was the Chief forestry officer at Samtse, served as Program Director for Bhutan for Life and he is the Chief Forestry Officer of Nature Conservation Division.
Mr. Namgay Dorjee is the Board Director of Green Bhutan Corporation Limited Board. He has over twelve years of experience in Financing, a year of experience as a program officer under Ministry of Finance and also served as the Deputy Director of National Credit Guarantee Scheme Facility. He has a Master of Arts in Arts in International Economics and Finance from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand.
